ALICE IN CHAINS In Talks To Play OZZFEST 2007
October 27, 2006According to Ozzyhead.com, Sharon Osbourne was interviewed yesterday (Oct. 26) by Opie and Anthony on their syndicated radio show. While discussing the annual Ozzfest travelling festival, Sharon confirmed that Ozzy will be performing on the event's second stage again next year. She also said that they are trying to get ALICE IN CHAINS on the bill. Osbourne also made a quick reference to a possible 40th anniversary tour for BLACK SABBATH in 2008.
As previously reported, former BIOHAZARD guitarist/vocalist Billy Graziadei will moderate the "Ozzfest 10th Anniversary Reunion" panel at the 26th annual CMJ Music Marathon, which is being held October 31-November 4 at Lincoln Center and its neighboring Tower Records in New York. The event will present more than 100 panels and discussions featuring dozens of high-profile artists, executives, journalists, industry veterans and pop-culture icons debating the state of today's volatile music business and its prospects for the future.
